· Strengthen and celebrate our 21 Shades program for families of color and multicultural/multiracial families in the Down syndrome community.

Who You Are

· Outgoing, people-focused, and passionate about inclusion.

· Organized, flexible, and comfortable juggling projects and events.

· Connected to the disability community through lived or professional experience.

· Excited to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events.

. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and are excited to grow your skills in outreach, inclusion, and community building.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred — may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Availability

· Full-time (32–40 hours/week); part-time considered for the right candidate.

· Office hours are Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with flexibility for outreach activities.

· Hybrid schedule with the option to work from home part of the week once onboarded.

· Local travel within West Michigan; reliable transportation and ability to move event materials required.

Compensation & Benefits

· Competitive salary based on experience, with annual growth and professional development opportunities.

· Benefits include vacation and holiday pay, health, long-term disability, and life insurance, parental leave, PSLF eligibility, mileage reimbursement, and professional development assistance.
