Upcoming Programs & Events

June 9 ⇒ Fishing Derby

Join us on June 9th at Yankee Springs Recreation Area for the DSAWM Fishing Derby. This fun, family-friendly event is open to DSAWM members of all ages. Veteran anglers will be on site to educate on fishing rules and etiquette and teach lessons. Families are encouraged to stay for a cookout and enjoy the rest of the park for a hike or swim. June 13 ⇒ Member Talent Show

Come on out to Cornerstone University on June 13th and support DSAWM members and friends as they showcase their talents and gifts in the first ever DSAWM Talent Show presented by Kapable, the Kellogg’s Business Employee Resource Group dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and their caregivers. June 29 ⇒ Family Fun Run/Walk

Bring your family, friends, and pets to Cascade Township Park on June 29th for a 1-mile, superhero-themed family fun run/walk and fundraiser to support healthy initiatives at the DSAWM. Stick around afterwards for a cookout and games with other families. Click here for more details.

September 21 ⇒ Step Up for Down Syndrome

Step Up For Down Syndrome is the largest Down syndrome awareness event in Michigan and DSAWM’s biggest fundraiser. This year’s event will be held at Fifth Third Ballpark and we will be turning it up to 11 with our theme “Rockin’ an Extra Chromosome.” Click here to register or donate.

Summer Hours

During the summer months, the DSAWM office is open Monday-Thursday from 9am-5pm and closed on Fridays. Summer hours are effective Memorial Day weekend, beginning May 24th, through Labor Day.
