Housing & Independent Living Workshop

Join us for a Housing & Independent Living Workshop designed to help individuals with disabilities, families, and caregivers learn about some of the different housing opportunities and support options available.
Attendees will hear directly from individuals with Down syndrome about their experiences living independently, including how they found their housing, the supports they use, and what they have learned along the way. Representatives from several local housing organizations will also share information about their housing model, who it is designed for, the supports offered, the cost, the availability, and how to get involved.
Following the presentations, attendees will have time to connect individually with housing representatives, ask questions, and gather resources to explore current and future housing options.
