Learn to ride the waves at an adaptive water ski clinic! DSAWM is partnering with Kentwood Parks and Recreation to teach members how to water ski in a safe and fun learning environment. Two clinics will be offered at John Collins Park on Friday, July 12th at 9:00am-12:00pm (12 participants) and 12:30pm-3:00pm (10 participants). Members aged 7+ are welcome. Cost is FREE! It’s a family baby shower! Families raising children with Down syndrome aged 5 and younger are invited to celebrate their beautiful new additions with DSAWM at the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum. Oh, Baby is a great opportunity for parents and siblings to connect with other families experiencing Down syndrome and learn about all that DSAWM has to offer. INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
DSAWM follows the same weather policy as Grand Rapids Public Schools. If GRPS is closed, DSAWM programs are cancelled. Program cancellation will be posted on the DSAWM homepage and Facebook. Time permitting, program participants will also be notified by email or phone.
