SUMMARY:CTC Therapeutic Play & Learn Group
DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to once again partner with the Comprehensive Therapy Center (CTC) to offer free Therapeutic Play and Learn groups that focus on child led play in a supportive\, therapeutic environment. Children will have the opportunity to explore and learn through play\, while professionals such as Speech Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists provide guidance\, model strategies\, and support each child’s development as needed. We are trying a new day and time on Thursdays from 4:30pm-6:00pm\, along with a new structure to these playgroups\, so we invite you to come give it a try! Groups will continue to take place in the DSAWM playroom and are open to members age 0-5. \n\n\n\nPlease register HERE if you are interested in participating!  \n\n\n\nPlease email program@dsawm.org if you have any questions.

SUMMARY:Grand Rapids Cooking Capers
DESCRIPTION:Grand Rapids Cooking Capers is a program led by GVSU nutrition students to teach independence in the kitchen for members 12 and older (members 12-15 must have a guardian present). We work on goals and learn kitchen safety\, measurements\, and more! We cook a delicious 3 course meal each week and enjoy socializing with others.
