Cooking Capers is taught by an experienced dietitian instructor with other helpers on-hand, so parents and caregivers do not need to stay. Participants learn culinary terminology, cooking methods, measurements, and kitchen safety while crafting a delicious, healthy recipe. Students enjoy the fruits of their labor at the end of each class. Our menu is always gluten-free.
Cooking Capers is open to DSAWM members with Down syndrome aged 16+ on a first come, first serve basis. Registration is required. To register contact Nate at email@example.com.***

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
DSAWM follows the same weather policy as Grand Rapids Public Schools. If GRPS is closed, DSAWM programs are cancelled. Program cancellation will be posted on the DSAWM homepage and Facebook. Time permitting, program participants will also be notified by email or phone.
